IPHMI's Emergency Medical Technician: Volume Two

This is Volume Two of IPHMI's two volume Emergency Medical Technician. The EMT is often the first individual in the medical care team to provide emergency medical care and transport for the sick and injured. The care provided by the EMT often makes the difference between life and death. This textbook provides the initial information (knowledge and skills) necessary for the student interested in becoming an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). This two volume text provides a comprehensive look at the medical (Volume One) and traumatic injuries (Volume Two) the EMT will encounter in both adult and pediatric patients. When used as part of an educational course, instructional materials are also available to IPHMI faculty.
