It's important to check the compatibility of the speaker grilles, as some 6.5 inch grilles may be larger and might not fit the pod's face correctly.

While some earlier CJ models may not allow placement in front of the shifters, they may accommodate placement on the other side, closer to you. Additionally, with minor modifications, the unit can fit earlier models and many trucks and SUVs. If your vehicle has a flat stretch across the transmission hump, you can simply flip the pod and use its flat backside. To determine compatibility, it's essential to consider that the Centra-Pod requires approximately 6 inches of depth and 6 inches of height clearance at the top/center.
